![]() ![]() Can someone confirm?Īm I going to get the same thing from a reseller, e.g. What am I missing?īased on my reading, the licenses that come with MSDN are perpetual - once I have a key/keys, I don't need to reinstall, I keep it if I stop subscribing, etc. Test Pro looks to be the same as Pro as far as features go (and doesn't come with VS, not that I'd use it,) but is twice the price. I get access to everything listed in the Excel file on the VS website (lol Win 3.1) plus some Azure credit (which I'd also like to take advantage of for learning's sake.) Evaluation versions could be an option for new OSes, but unfortunately not older ones. ![]() My intent is to buy this subscription to both mess around with things on old OSes that I don't understand, and build out a VM network to mess around with things on new OSes that I don't understand. but I suspect someone here has navigated this mess before and can advise a bit more directly. I spent a few hours yesterday trying to look for information, and found some stuff. ![]() I'm looking at VS Pro/VS Test Pro subscriptions - the new MSDN equivalent as far as I can tell - and the options confuse the hell out of me. ![]()
